Cycling is for Everybody
Cycling is fun. It is. Some people, mostly athletes do it for a living. For some, it is a hobby that depicts passion and discipline. For others, it’s a way of life. Even some people it as their only way of transportation.
For health buffs, it is a good exercise too. It is not impossible for normal people to enjoy the thrill of cycling and swerving through roads, curves and trails. Besides, almost all of us begged our parents to buy us our own bicycles back in the good old days.
Most people, young or old, male or female, whatever color or race, can appreciate cycling. But some of us worry about the fact that bicycle equipment these days have prices stuck up on the ceiling; from the helmets, biking gears and wears, and the bicycle itself.
We are too worried if we can shoulder it financially, and since times are pretty rough right now, it would be impractical to spend tons of cash with premiere biking equipment. That would just be wrong. So the big question is, how am I going to enjoy biking or cycling without emptying my pocket over it?
Well, since there are lesser people who can afford the really good biking stuff, or because most people find it too impractical to spend a huge sum of money with just biking gears, we have to find better ways to obtain more for less. People, it is, the art of bargaining. Sometimes, when our pockets cannot stand the price to pay, we have to get our witty minds to go to work. When financial capacities fail, we have to perform drastic measures to get what we need, what we want.
Shop choice is very important. If you plan to buy cheap things, then of course, you won’t try your luck inside a sporting shop in the stomach of a shopping mall, you want have any. First of all, be on the lookout for promo sales. Try surplus shops as an alternative. Since merchandise here is not brand new, it will be a lot cheaper. The thing is, you just have to pay close attention to the things that you are about to buy.
There will be limited or no warranty at all in a surplus shop, so examine the things you are about to buy. Another way of fishing for cheap cycling stuff is through the internet. The internet is very broad. You can find anything you need there. There are a lot of buy and sell sites that sell stuff cheaper than elite products. It might not be as good as the expensive ones, but as long as you take good care of it, it’s all good.
One thing people have to remember as customers, you have to bargain. Ask for a price cut, it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Who knows right? A discount might be at bay. Also, you can ask fellow bikers for stuff that they wouldn’t be using anymore, like spares for your bikes. It’s just a matter of assertive speech. Some people might even give it to you for free.
Who said biking is not for everybody? That biking is not for people who spend lots of cash to sustain the needed gear to go cycling. It I just a state of mind, as long as you have a bike, with even just your shirt on, you can enjoy. You see? It’s all in your head.
